In addition to the classic organization of jobs, travel planning and customer management, in a model agency you of course have much more challenging tasks! For one thing, you will have a lot to do with rights of use. There are the daily commitment (work) and the buyouts (rights of use). You will learn how to calculate how high a fee must be as well as the buyouts for use in certain regions, countries. In addition, there are various media such as print (magazines, billboards, etc.), social media (Youtube, Instagram, Ads, etc.), TV, video streaming but also the duration of the campaign plays a major role. If it is only a few months, a half year, a year or even two or five years. You have to calculate all these factors.

In addition to these three factors, the model’s experience and age are also important. Modern tools: Photoshop, Indesign and Content Management

We will teach you about the usage rights and prices of various software programs. E.g. you will cut pictures for the online Sedcard but also for customers Sedcard. You use Photoshop for this! With us you will learn how to use Photoshop in its basics, from simple cuts to more complex montages, e.g. for our blog. We show you how to use the different tools and filters. Directly on a very high level in comparison to many study offers. In addition to Photoshop, you will also get to know layout programs and InDesign. You can use it to create magazines, but also books. In the smaller format but also PDF Sedcards, as just described. In addition to these two graphics programs, we also show you content management systems. Content management systems are used today to create websites and online shops, including our model agency website with model portfolio! We’ll teach you how to use such a modern website so that it looks perfect on your smartphone, tablet or notebook.

We are looking for interns and trainees who want to immerse themselves fully in the world of media, models & advertising! At CM you will see all areas and get to know all aspects of a model and media agency. You will gain deep insights into office and administration, as well as media skills: Modern online marketing, social media and influencer marketing, PR and much more. You start in National Booking: This means customer and model support for the German-speaking countries. This means organizational talent and motivation in dealing with customers, models and partners. Model agents are planners, administrators, organizational talents, contact persons, networkers. From the fashion show to the fashion week to castings and travel management. Prerequisites for the job

• Commitment and autonomy
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Good spelling and expression
• Communication skills, independent and structured working, sense of responsibility
• Computer Basics
• Ideally fast typing or 10-finger typing (for e-mails, content, etc.)

Working times

• Mo – Thu from 9-18 h incl. 1 hour break (11 h for internships 3 months, also Fr.)
• Fr from 9-15 o’clock incl. 30 minutes break

Remuneration in internships and vocational training

• Internship up to 3 months: 100 Euro / month Compensation for expenses (start of work from 11 am instead of 9 am)
• Internship up to 6 months: 300 Euro / month expense allowance
• Vocational training individual agreement
• Plus health insurance and social security contributions (AGA)
• Transfer possible

Optional: vocational training to become a businesswoman and a businessman

• Your degree: Business management assistant for office management or dialogue marketing

What does a Modelbooker do in the agency?

The Booker of a model agency represents the communication link between the model and the customer. He ensures that the order runs smoothly and is the direct contact person for the model. The basic task of a model booker is to generate and maintain customer contacts. He is available as a direct contact for inquiries and knows the faces of the card index. He suggests the appropriate models to the customers and is responsible for the entire booking process. With an instinct for the wishes and demands of his customers, as a model agent he goes in search of the perfect suggestions for bookings on a daily basis. If a model is not able to start a booked job, the Booker will take care of a replacement model. In the same way, the booker is always on the lookout for jobs that the agency’s models can arrange, this becomes active customer acquisition. Acquiring new customers strengthens the entire company. Besides, he also takes care of the negotiations about the buy outs. He mediates invoices of the bookings to the accounting department.

For the model he arranges information, framework and travel dates. So nothing stands in the way of perfect booking.

How demanding is the training to become a modelling agent?

The training as a modelling agent is really demanding. Anyone who really wants to be a model agent later on should make sure that training is the minimum requirement. Such vocational training lasts three years and ends with a degree in office management or dialogue marketing. In both areas we focus your work very much on marketing but also on organization and administration. All in One!

Later in your vocational training, you will lead the fate of our company as a project manager. Models, customers, events, press, national and international.
